Services delivered
Before and after
A fast-growing FinTech handling sensitive customer data lacked enterprise-grade security and had no automated enforcement of PCI-DSS and RBI guidelines, while manual deployments caused downtime.
Before
- Compliance had to be enforced automatically, not by manual review.
- There was no central monitoring, logging or audit trail, and no structured disaster recovery.
- The platform had to scale through peak transaction hours without outages or breaches.
After
- Zero critical security incidents after go-live
- 99.99% platform availability
- 35% lower cloud infrastructure cost
The solution
Solution path

- SAST + dependency scan
- Image scan
- IaC policy check
- Amazon EKS
How it was delivered
Phase 1
Architected a multi-AZ AWS VPC with strict network segmentation and microservices on Amazon EKS.
Phase 2
Built DevSecOps pipelines with SAST, dependency scanning, container image scanning and Terraform policy checks, plus least privilege through IAM and IRSA.
Phase 3
Protected the edge with AWS WAF and Shield, kept secrets in Secrets Manager, encrypted everything, and audited with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty and AWS Config.

Questions about this project
Which security checks run in the pipeline?
Every change passes static code analysis (SAST), dependency vulnerability scanning, container image scanning and Terraform policy checks before it can deploy to Amazon EKS.
Did security make the platform slower or costlier?
No. Deployments became 40% faster and cloud infrastructure cost fell by 35%, while the platform reached 99.99% availability with zero critical security incidents after go-live.
