Celestibia Solutions provides cloud disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning for organizations that cannot afford long outages or data loss. We define recovery time and recovery point objectives with you, choose a DR pattern that meets them at a sensible cost, implement backup, replication and failover, and test recovery regularly.

Who is this service for?

  • 1Regulated businesses that must demonstrate recovery capability to auditors or regulators.
  • 2Companies whose revenue stops when a single region or data center goes down.
  • 3Teams with backups that have never been restored in a test.
  • 4Organizations moving DR from a secondary data center to the cloud.

What Celestibia provides

Business impact and objectives

Recovery time objective (RTO) and recovery point objective (RPO) per system, based on business impact.

DR architecture

Backup and restore, pilot light, warm standby or multi-site active-active, chosen per workload.

Data protection

Policy-driven backups, cross-region and cross-account copies, and database replication.

Automated failover

Infrastructure as code and runbooks that bring up the recovery environment predictably.

DR testing

Scheduled recovery tests with measured RTO and RPO and documented findings.

Business continuity planning

Roles, communication plans and procedures for the people side of an incident.

Business outcomes

  • Documented, tested recovery objectives.
  • Backups that are proven to restore.
  • Evidence for auditors and customers.
  • DR spend proportional to business impact.

How we deliver

  1. 1

    Assess impact

Identify critical systems and agree RTO and RPO for each.

  2. 2

    Design

Select the DR pattern and data protection approach per workload.

  3. 3

    Implement

Build replication, backup and failover with infrastructure as code.

  4. 4

    Test and improve

Run recovery tests, measure results and close gaps.

Security and cost, built in

Security approach

Backups are encrypted, copied to isolated accounts and protected against deletion, so a compromised production account cannot also destroy its recovery copies.

Cost optimization approach

DR cost scales with how fast you need to recover. We match each system to the cheapest pattern that meets its objectives instead of running a full duplicate of everything.

Disaster Recovery: frequently asked questions

What is cloud disaster recovery?

Cloud disaster recovery uses cloud infrastructure to restore systems and data after an outage, cyberattack or region failure. It combines backups, replication and pre-defined failover so services return within an agreed time.

What is the difference between RTO and RPO?

Recovery time objective (RTO) is how long a system can be down before recovery must be complete. Recovery point objective (RPO) is how much data, measured in time, you can afford to lose. Together they decide which DR pattern you need.

Has Celestibia delivered DR for regulated customers?

Yes. For a leading Indian private-sector bank, Celestibia implemented Azure SQL with geo-replication as part of a migration that achieved a 30-minute RTO and met RBI requirements.
